NEW Barre With An Athletic Twist is a "Barre None"
approach to the
popular Ballet Barre formats infusing ballet, yoga, pilates, and
strength
conditioning. You will learn not only the traditional Ballet Barre
version of the exercises, but we will also provide you with an athletic
modification for the same exercise - making this program adaptable to a
wider range of clients!
This workshop introduces the trainer on how to successfully teach a basic Barre format without the use of necessity of a barre!
No dance experience - no worries! One can obtain all the Barre
benefits utilizing portable tools such as the Bender Ball, Gliding Discs
and Dyna-Bands.
This workshop is both a dance and athletic style workout that
develops the lean body of a dancer while one builds strength like an
athlete., Barre workouts are a total body workout that will reshape
your body.
Hard on muscles - but kind on joints - the small movements in
Barre reduces pressure on the joints, tendons, ligaments and spine and
one will notice a marked improvement in ones core strength and posture.
Increased flexibility and strength - allowing one to enjoy a longer active life free of injury.
Adding the Bender Ball to this format stabilizes the hip flexors
enabling better body alignment and correct muscle recruitment - leader
to a safer and more efficient execution of the exercises.
Our program focuses on the body's ability to lengthen against
gravity and applied functional exercises for all levels of students.
Each trainer will walk away understanding the true purpose of each
exercise and how this Barre program is based on functional exercises
that creates core strength, improved flexibility and posture for ALL
levels of fitness!
