Pamela Klombies, Calgary, ABSince 1995, Pamela has been working as a registered physiotherapist in Saskatchewan and Alberta. She is also licensed to practise in the state of Florida, USA. Her passion, her focus, what drives her - begins with sports injury rehabilitation. Specifically, she treats and prescribes exercises for individuals recovering from concussion syndrome, whiplash associated disorders, pelvic and other spinal injuries. When she was just sixteen, Pamela ventured into the fascinating world of Fitness Leadership and its seemingly endless array of possibilities, as many of you had! Ten years later, after co-producing pre- and post-natal exercise shows, she was proud to represent Canada - along with her teammates - at the World Aerobics Championships (San Diego, 1995). Another decade passed, and Pamela suffered her own spinal injury, enduring emergency decompression surgery and many months of exercise rehabilitation. She credits her special therapists for never letting her give up on herself and for encouraging her to always put her "best foot forward". The health and fitness industry continues to adapt and evolve and re-invent itself. Presently, Pamela wishes to address you all as experts and professionals and to share in the wealth of experience and knowledge available to us all. In the words of Benjamin Franklin: Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn. content |
