Sue LaPierre, Lac La Biche, ABNAIT PFT, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, GMU Rehabilitation Practitioner II, AFLCA GES/RTS, AFLCA Ever Active Kids AFLCA Group Designations....(Choreography, Portable Equipment, Spin Cycle, and Mind Body), Zumba Certified Sue has been in the fitness industry for over 25 years. She is a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is certified Group Exercise Specialist and Resistance Training Specialist with the Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification Association (AFLCA). She has recently taken the AFLCA Specialty courses, Fitness and the Older Adult and Aquatic Exercise and is in the process of completing the practical and exam components for these. Sue is a certified Zumba Instructor (Zumba Basics 1, 2, Toning, Gold, Gold Toning, Circuit, Zumbatomic, and Aqua Zumba). She works full time at the Bold Center in Lac La Biche, Alberta where she trains clients and teaches a variety of group fitness classes including Cardio-Kick box Circuit, Tabata, Zumba, Aqua Zumba, Deep Water Aqua, Fusion, Cross Cycle Fit, and Bender Ball. She also leads a free 50+ Walk-on program twice a week and co-teaches a free Stroller Roller Program for new parents. In her "spare time" Sue enjoys spending time with her family traveling, dancing Hip Hop and she runs a privately owned business called Su Vida Fitness. Su Vida means "Your Life". As a mother of 4, she knows well the challenges of balancing life including work, volunteering, being a wife and mom, exercise and healthy eating. Sue loves helping people take on life's challenges through exercise and active/healthy living. Sue encourages her clients to work toward their personal best. Her compassionate, encouraging nature and sense of humor helps people to push past obstacles and move toward their personal and fitness goals. Healthy living is a way of life, not a trend. Sue strongly believes that people need to find what moves them not only physically but also intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally.
